Presto Rides LLC was built from a long-standing passion for automobiles and years of hands-on experience in the car industry. The journey began in 2002 with the purchase and sale of a first vehicle, and by 2008 expanded into actively buying and selling vehicles while gaining deeper experience in the automotive market.
In 2014, that experience evolved into Business Optimization Systems and Services (B.O.S.S.), where work included consulting for car rental companies and dealerships, assisting with fleet upgrades, and acting as a vehicle broker connecting buyers and sellers.
Over the years, this work has been guided by what I refer to as the "Pono Broker" philosophy — conducting vehicle transactions with transparency and sharing all available information so buyers clearly understand what they are purchasing. This approach helped build a reputation as a reliable source for quality vehicles, practical cruisers, and thoughtfully selected inventory.
A significant part of this experience includes working with post-accident vehicles, with several hundred rebuilt or salvage-title vehicles sold over the years. Rather than performing repairs personally, all restoration and repair work has consistently been delegated to reputable and qualified mechanic and body shops, ensuring vehicles are properly repaired, inspected, and prepared for reliable use.
This experience also extended into assisting businesses with sourcing vehicles and upgrading rental fleets, with a focus on reliability, practicality, and long-term value.
Today, that accumulated experience is applied to Presto Rides LLC — operating a growing and evolving Maui fleet that includes both affordable island cruisers and newer premium vehicles. This balanced approach allows travelers to choose vehicles that match their needs, whether for simple island exploration, family travel, or a more refined Maui experience.
As the company continues to grow, the goal remains unchanged — to provide quality vehicles, honest service, and a smooth, reliable experience, built on the same transparent and practical approach that shaped Presto Rides from the beginning.
